Trainer – Social Impact Programs

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Trainer with a proven track record in the social impact or development sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and executing impactful training programs aligned with the goals of community development, livelihood enhancement, women empowerment, entrepreneurship, sustainability, or other thematic social causes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Delivery:
  1. Facilitate end-to-end training sessions for target groups including youth, women, entrepreneurs, farmers, community leaders, or field staff.
  2. Ensure training is engaging, inclusive, and customized to the needs of diverse participants.
• Training Planning & Execution:
  1. Develop training schedules and execute sessions across different locations as per program timelines.
  2. Coordinate with program teams to ensure smooth logistical planning and participation.
• Curriculum Development:
  1. Create and update training content, manuals, handouts, and presentation materials based on project objectives.
  2. Localize and contextualize training material to meet regional and community-specific needs.
• Monitoring & Evaluation:
  1. Collect feedback from participants and stakeholders to assess training effectiveness.
  2. Prepare session reports, attendance records, and impact documentation.
• Stakeholder Coordination:
  1. Engage with field staff, partner organizations, and government or community stakeholders for training delivery.
  2. Support capacity-building initiatives for internal teams or partner trainers.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in training delivery in the social impact sector (NGOs, CSR, Foundations, Government schemes, or similar).
• Experience with participatory training methods and adult learning techniques.

• Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Education, Rural Development, or relevant fields.
• Skills & Competencies:
  1. Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills in local language and English.
  2. Proficiency in MS Office, digital tools, and online training platforms.
  3. Ability to travel extensively for on-ground training sessions.
• Preferred Skills:
  1. Exposure to government skill development or CSR-funded training projects.
  2. Experience working with marginalized communities, SHGs, FPOs, or social entrepreneurs.
  3. Ability to manage large training groups and conduct ToTs (Training of Trainers).
