Job Description
We are looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in the social impact sector to serve as Mentors who can design, deliver, and execute impactful training programs. The ideal candidate will bring domain expertise, hands-on field knowledge, and a passion for empowering individuals and communities through structured learning and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training sessions, workshops, and capacity-building programs for target beneficiaries, project teams, or partner organizations.
- Execute training modules end-to-end, from planning and content development to post-training assessment and impact evaluation.
- Mentor and guide program participants with practical insights, best practices, and field-based examples.
- Collaborate with internal teams to customize training content based on program objectives, community needs, and stakeholder expectations.
- Monitor learner progress and provide continuous feedback for improvement.
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge transfer and impact.
- Maintain training documentation, reports, and feedback summaries.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the social impact sector, with at least 2 years in training or mentorship roles.
- Prior experience in NGO, CSR, developmental projects, or capacity-building initiatives is highly desirable.
Requirement
- Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Development Studies, Sociology, Rural Development, Education, or related fields.
- Key Skills & Competencies:
1. Strong facilitation and public speaking skills.
2. Deep understanding of social impact domains (e.g., education, livelihoods, gender, environment, health, rural development).
3. Ability to translate complex concepts into simple, engaging, and actionable training content.
4. Proficiency in local languages (preferred) and/or English.
5. Experience with adult learning methods and participatory training techniques.
6. Basic skills in using digital tools for remote or hybrid training (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, LMS). - Preferred Attributes:
1. Experience working with grassroots organizations, SHGs, FPOs, or community-based programs.
2. Certification in Training of Trainers (ToT) or similar is an added advantage.
3. Willingness to travel to project sites (if required). - Location: Bengaluru
