We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional with a strong understanding of central and state government welfare schemes across sectors such as education, health, livelihoods, agriculture, women & child development, social security, and skill development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and facilitating the implementation and integration of government schemes that align with the organization’s social impact programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Government Scheme Mapping:
1. Conduct research and maintain an updated repository of relevant government schemes (central/state/sectoral).
2. Identify schemes that align with ongoing or proposed projects in rural, urban, or semi-urban settings. - Program Integration & Implementation Support:
1. Liaise with government departments for scheme approvals, registrations, and fund utilization.
2. Facilitate beneficiary identification, documentation, and scheme enrollment support.
3. Provide end-to-end technical assistance in the implementation of relevant schemes in the field. - Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Establish and maintain relationships with key officials at the block, district, state, and central levels.
2. Represent the organization in government meetings, workshops, and policy discussions. - Training & Capacity Building:
1. Organize workshops and training sessions for field teams, community leaders, and beneficiaries on scheme eligibility, benefits, and processes.
2. Develop IEC (Information, Education & Communication) material for awareness generation. - Monitoring & Reporting:
1. Track impact, beneficiary reach, and scheme utilization across geographies.
2. Document success stories, case studies, and prepare periodic reports for donors, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- 4 to 5 years of proven experience working in NGOs, CSR projects, or social enterprises with a focus on government schemes
- Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Public Policy, Rural Development, or related fields
Key Requirements:
1. In-depth knowledge of flagship schemes such as MGNREGA, PMAY, PMKVY, NHM, ICDS, NSAP, Ujjwala, PMFME and others
2. Strong understanding of government systems and bureaucracy3. Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills in English and the local language
4. Ability to travel frequently to field locations and government offices- Preferred Skills:
1. Knowledge of MIS portals, application workflows, and scheme monitoring tools
2. Experience in community mobilization and working with marginalized groups
3. Ability to write proposals or reports linked to scheme-based program implementation - Location: Bengaluru
