Job Description
The District Nodal Representative will act as the key liaison between the organization and the local community, institutions, and stakeholders. The role is responsible for on-ground coordination and execution of various social welfare and community development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all district-level program execution and coordination.
- Mobilize and engage local communities, NGOs, educational institutions, SHGs, and government bodies.
- Plan and organize awareness campaigns, training sessions, workshops, and surveys in the district.
- Track the progress of initiatives and submit timely reports and updates to the regional/state team.
- Collect and manage local data related to project beneficiaries, impact, and field activities.
- Resolve issues at the grassroots level and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Represent the organization at local events and meetings with professionalism and commitment.
- Ensure documentation and compliance with organizational protocols at the district level.
Experience
- 1–2 years of relevant field experience
- Prior experience in NGOs, CSR projects, or community outreach initiatives
- Good coordination skills with government and non-government stakeholders
- Passion for social work and community upliftment
Requirement
- Qualification: B.Com or any graduate degree
- Language: Kannada (mandatory), Basic English & Hindi preferred
- Skills & Competencies:
1. Excellent verbal communication in Kannada
2. Strong interpersonal and community engagement skills
3. Basic knowledge of MS Office and digital reporting tools
4. Local area familiarity and willingness to travel within the district
5. Ability to work independently and manage field-level responsibilities
6. Problem-solving mindset and willingness to serve social causes - Preferred Candidate: Local resident of the district
